About Us
About New Horizons Multicultural Network
New Horizons Multicultural Network (NHMN) is a community-based, not-for-profit organisation supporting multicultural, migrant and refugee communities.
Our focus is on creating inclusive opportunities that strengthen wellbeing, social connection, settlement, cultural inclusion and meaningful community participation.
We deliver a range of programs and activities designed to support individuals and families at different stages of their settlement and community journey. These include women’s wellbeing and social connection programs, family and children’s activities, cultural and community events, language and education programs, youth and sporting activities, creative workshops, and projects that help newly arrived families connect with services and the wider community.
While many of our activities are based in the Hunter region, we work with and welcome participants from across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and surrounding areas.
Our programs are inclusive and open to people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, including newly arrived migrants, refugees and established multicultural communities.
We aim to create welcoming spaces where people can connect, learn, participate, share their culture and build a stronger sense of belonging within the wider community.

Our Approach
